City of Woodcreek Qualifications for Office: Type A, General Law City (3 At-Large Positions – 2-year terms)
Election Date: November 7, 2023

Mayor:

Be a United States Citizen;
Be 18 years of age or older on the first day of the term to be filled at the election;
Be a registered voter on the City of Woodcreek on the date of the regular filing deadline for a place on the ballot;
Be a resident of Woodcreek for 1 year prior to filing;
Have not been determined by a final judgement of a court exercising probate jurisdiction to be (A) totally mentally incapacitated; or (B) partially mentally incapacitated without the right to vote; AND
Have not been finally convicted of a felony from which the person has not been pardoned or otherwise released from the resulting disabilities

Council Member - 2 spots:

Be a United States Citizen;

Be a resident of Texas for 1 year prior to filing and a resident of the City of Woodcreek for 6 months prior to filing;
Have not been determined by a final judgement of a court exercising probate jurisdiction to be (A) totally mentally incapacitated; or (B) partially mentally incapacitated without the right to vote; AND
Have not been finally convicted of a felony from which the person has not been pardoned or otherwise released from the resulting disabilities
