How long have you lived in Woodcreek, and what do you enjoy about living here?

I have lived in Woodcreek with my family for three years. What drew us to this town is the natural beauty of all the oak trees and Cypress creek, as well as the friendliness of the residents. My kids are also fond of all the adorable animals running around, from the fawns to the foxes!

What is your profession?

My background is in healthcare administration, but I currently am a business operations manager for a company in Austin. I also have a fun part-time job working in a local winery, where I get to meet tons of amazing people and teach them about wine!

Why did you run for City Council?

I ran for City Council because I believe in guiding policies that will shape our town's future for the better. It's important to me that we make thoughtful decisions today to ensure long-term prosperity and sustainability for all residents. I also want to help build a community where both young and old can thrive. By serving on the council, I hope to foster unity, growth, and a high quality of life for everyone that calls Woodcreek home.

What have you learned in your time serving on City Council?

My knowledge base on municipal infrastructure has expanded significantly, as well as learning all the behind-the-scenes development and work that goes into capital projects.

What are some of Woodcreek's biggest opportunities and challenges in the coming months and years?

I think Woodcreek's biggest opportunities come from the amazing people we have living here. There are many residents with incredible backgrounds who volunteer their time and knowledge and really work together to improve every facet of this town. I love the sense of community in Woodcreek, and appreciate how many neighbors are looking after each other and helping in times of need. I believe our most significant challenge will be forging through this extreme drought and coming up with innovative ways to encourage residents to set up rainwater collection systems and practice other water conservation measures.

What is something interesting that you want residents to know about you?

You can always find me at local estate sales! I love finding high-quality vintage furniture and restoring it to its original glory!
